Artificial Christmas Tree Ordering Guide
Many families have tree decorating parties at a certain time each year, most commonly the weekend after Thanksgiving. This year Thanksgiving falls on a Sunday, and the following Friday is December 1st. There are a number of considerations to make when determining when you should order your artificial Christmas tree if you'd like to get it in time for a Christmas party.
During most of the year, when a customer orders an
artificial Christmas tree, it generally takes 1-2 days for us to pull the tree and get it to FedEx. Then it takes FedEx 3-5 days to deliver it to most cities in the US. However, during the busy months of November and December FedEx ship times are often double the 3-5 business days. If you were to order your artificial Christmas tree on a Friday night and it shipped 2 business days later, on Wednesday, and then took FedEx 6-10 business days to deliver it, you might not receive your tree until nearly two-and-a-half weeks after you placed your order. For this reason, if you need your artificial Christmas tree for a party or any other occasion, it would be wise to order it at least 3 weeks in advance.
Another factor to consider is that every company that sells live or artificial Christmas trees aims to sell all inventory by the end of the year. Sales really start to pick up in October, and many artificial Christmas tree styles are sold out before November even begins. Our stock generally arrives in July and August, so to be sure you’re able to get exactly the tree you’re looking for, the best time to order your tree is during the months of September and October.
